Did you know that I'm clairvoyant? Oh, yes. The physical therapist called this morning saying that he was coming today but when I asked when, he wouldn't answer. I mean, even the cable company gives you a 4-5 hour window. Not particularly helpful but at least it's something. Nope, homeboy said "today". So when two cousins come over for dinner and to chat about how they can help us this week, I told K that the PT guy would come as soon as we were ready to eat dinner. Two guesses what happened as soon as everyone filled their plate. Gee... It's hard being so smart.
So L worked with the PT guy while we ate (K and I took turns sitting with/checking on them) but it was mainly just an opening session, checking on what the docs and the hospital want him to be able to do and checking on L's mobility and strength a bit. They didn't get get to much... they just did a few of the exercises that he got from the OT folks at the hospital. He made some recommendations about L moving around the house (take fewer trips to get what you need, sit on padded chairs, etc.) and that was about it. He was pretty wiped out by the end of our cousins' visit. We let him sleep a bit before we gave him his Lunesta so he would be able to sleep later in the morning. We'll see how that plan works out. :)
