M is here! L and M had a lovely reunion and the three of us have been hanging around the house all day. M's flight was early... like 530a, so she's headed to bed now. L is scooting around on the phone with someone (don't know who) and is transitioning to bed soon.
M and L chatted with our neighbor from two doors down outside in the yard for a while today. Then C and D from next door came by with their adorable little ones. C made THE MOST delicious chef salad ever and an extra yummy key lime bundt cake. We sooo appreciate it. :) Then L and I ran to Walgreen's to pick up a prescription that his PCP called in but we didn't get it because I told L that we should check with him tomorrow to see why they called it in. It seems weird because he hasn't been to his PCP in a while. After the pharmacy, we drove around the neighborhood and took in the sights. We passed by Dr. W's (L's friend from the HOA) house and thought about stopping but he wasn't home so we kept it moving. It gave me an idea, though. It's so much easier for L to get around now, I think we might try to take a little trip everyday provided he continues to get stronger.
Anyway, we don't have anything planned for tomorrow but there is the constant threat that the PT guy will come back.... nobody knows when. Goofy. Other than that, M and I will get to be Guitar Heroes (more on that later this week), pending the affects of the chemo on L. First appointment for that is Tuesday morning at 1030. Please pray that the affects of the chemo will be only positive and that L will continue to feel stronger and stronger.
As for me, I'm gonna do a little work before bed. K returns this week and we are also expecting a visit from K's cousin. Busy week for all!
